Origin of Hornblower Fandom : My mother used to read me the books at bedtime when I was little, then I read them for myself later on. When I heard a Welsh actor was playing him I was so excited I rushed and bought the first dvd set before even seeing it and was not disappointed! I've been following it ever since and can't wait for the next installment which sadly might never come.
